Contrast A11y (macOS)
Contrast A11y is a menu bar contrast checker for Mac. Sample any color straight off your screen or type in a hex code — it rates the pair against WCAG AA and AAA in real time, so you're never guessing if your text will actually be legible.
One click away from anywhere on your Mac — sample a color, check a ratio, and get back to work.
Pick straight off the screen — a design file, a live website, anything on your display — no exporting swatches first.
See pass or fail for normal and large text against both standards the moment you sample a color.
Because the whole point of the app is making sure everyone else's apps are readable too.
